Like many Calathea species, the Calathea Rattlesnake exhibits a fascinating behavior known as "prayer plant" behavior. During the day, the leaves of the Calathea Rattlesnake are positioned horizontally, displaying their attractive pattern. However, in the evening or low-light conditions, the leaves fold up or "pray" together, revealing the contrasting undersides of the leaves.
