Alocasia Cucullata is a clumping evergreen herbaceous plant that is grown as a food plant and as an ornamental in areas within and outside its native distribution range of tropical and temperate Asia.

This plant loves to be kept in a bright, indirect light and usually makes a good setup when being placed alone in a corner by itself.

Fun Fact: Alocasia Cucullata are often planted around temples as they are believed to bring in good luck. There are also beliefs that they have 'magical' properties and are planted to protect Buddhist temples.
